Balkan Watch is a twice-monthly publication detailing and analyzing the various current events and conflicts in the Balkans region. Examples of topics covered include the status of Kosovo, the rise of nationalism in Serbia, the Milosevic trial at The Hague, EU expansion into the Balkans, and conflict among the three ethnic groups in Bosnia & Herzegovina. It was previously produced by the Balkan Institute from 1994-1998.
Balkan Watch is now prepared by the Post-Conflict Political Development Practice of the Public International Law & Policy Group, in cooperation with the School of International Service at American University, and is made possible by a grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York.
